We are currently seeking an underwriting professional for Chubb's Major Accounts Property Group in New York, NY.

• Underwrite individual risks
• Offer coverage and terms
• Assess risk exposures
• Analyze claims and quantify losses
• Sell and negotiate to achieve profitability
• Make presentations and communicate articulately
• Manage producer strategy
• Solicit new and renewal submissions
• Determine terms and conditions
• Bind coverage
• Document underwriting files
• Handle complex files and portfolios
• Guide and mentor junior staff

• 5-7 years of underwriting experience
• Experience underwriting Property insurance
• Bachelor's degree
• Excellent skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
